Road Safety Engineering Workshops

Road Safety Engineering Workshops

3-7 May 2010
Holiday inn City Central
Christchurch

These workshops are jointly sponsored by the New Zealand Transport Agency and the Local District and City Councils in the location where the current workshops are being held.

Three workshops are normally held in each location two in one year and one in the next, usually in April/May and August/September. More than 20 workshops have been held, and they are highly regarded by the industry as critical to professional development, hence the discount for IPENZ membership.

The purpose of the workshops are to provide a brief introduction to Road Safety Management Systems and prepare engineering staff to carry out Crash Reduction Studies and Safety Audits by revising key skills, informing about procedures and providing opportunities to practice with an experienced practitioner.

Designers, prospective safety auditors, crash reduction team members and network management safety staff will find this workshop very beneficial.
